The Greater Nottingham Authorities, of Broxtowe Borough Council, Gedling Borough
Council, Nottingham City Council and Rushcliffe Borough Council, have jointly prepared
the Greater Nottingham Strategic Plan (Publication Version) for public consultation and
subsequent submission to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local
Government in order for an independent examination of the plan by a Planning Inspector
to take place. The Strategic Plan covers the administrative areas of Broxtowe Borough,
Gedling Borough, Nottingham City and Rushcliffe Borough.

The Greater Nottingham Strategic Plan includes proposed development allocations and a
number of detailed policies for managing new development.

Period of publication
Representations are invited on the Greater Nottingham Strategic Plan (Publication Version) in the period between Monday 4th November 2024 and 5pm on Monday 16th December 2024.


How to view the documents
The Greater Nottingham Strategic Plan (Publication Version), evidence base, and all other
proposed submission documents, (including documents which have supported preparation
of the Local Plan) and guidance on how to make representations are available to view on
the Nottingham Partnership website.
